There's a reason Tom Holland was at UFC 201 this weekend: he wasn't just picking up fighting tips for his role as Spider-Man in Homecoming, he was actually cheering on a co-star.

According to the man himself, UFC fighter Tyron Woodley - who won the welterweight championship at the event in Atlanta, Georgia incidentally - has a role in Homecoming.

Woodley all but confirmed the fact as a guest on The MMA Hour:

“I don’t know if I can even say this, but I’m working on a Marvel movie on Thursday in Atlanta."

Unless there's another Marvel movie shooting in Atlanta at the minute (there's not, he's talking about Spidey). In the past he's done stunt work and associated supporting roles on the likes of Kickboxer: Vengeance and Straight Outta Compton, and the smart money would be on the same sort of thing again.

He would be the second UFC champion to appear in a superhero movie for Marvel too, as Georges St-Pierre - who starred alongside him in Kickboxer Vengeance - starred in Captain America: The Winter Soldier as secondary villain Georges Batroc.
