Star Wars: Rogue One New Trailer Breakdown - 29 Things You Need To See
The new Rogue One trailer promises to build a rebellion on hope, and then tears it down.
Things have been a little quiet on the Rogue One front lately. Too quiet, in fact.
Thankfully, Disney and Lucasfilm were aware of this too, and have dropped the latest, greatest, and allegedly final (yeah right) trailer for 2016's biggest movie.
It probably goes without saying, but the trailer looks amazing; the cinematography in this film is going to be off the charts, and there's a real dark and gritty war film feel to it that helps it stand apart from anything else in Star Wars - while still having some clear parts of the universe's iconography.
It's also the most plot-filled tease of the film yet too, finally giving us a look at Mads Mikkelsen's Galen Erso in action, and the most Darth Vader we've had so far. On top of that, there's more of the Rebels mission, a closer look at a couple of characters we haven't seen too much of, some absolutely stunning shots, and a hell of a lot to get excited about.
It still feels like a long wait until the movie's December release date, but it's nice to have something to obsess over in the meantime, which is exactly what's happening here in this breakdown the brand new Rogue One trailer.
