The first two trailers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens have been met with a massive media fanfare, with the internet coming to a standstill in the hours before their releases release. You'd expect the third teaser to arrive with a similar level of hype, but not so - the official Star Wars Korea YouTube page has got ahead of the act and secretly unveiled a new TV spot. It's mostly re-edited from the previous two teasers, with a lot of focus on the new characters, all to the words of Andy Serkis' Supreme Leader Snoke saying "There has been an awakening, have you felt it?" However, there is one exciting shot at the start which is worth talking about. Screencapped above, it's a reversal of the shot of the First Order (the movie's name for the Imperial Remnant) troops from the second teaser, revealing there's A LOT of those redesigned stormtroopers running about. The figure at the front is probably General Hux, Domhnall Gleeson's character, while behind him is Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie), wearing a black robe, and a bunch of other Imperial higher ups. Conspicuously absent is Kylo Ren, the cross-guard lightsaber wielding primary antagonist, who we know is at the very least working alongside the former Empire. In terms of new stuff, there's a couple of vehicles we've not seen before - some odd boat-like ships and what looks like a redesigned AT-AT to the far right. They're too far out to really comment on further, but it is cool that the film is taking a step-forward in the general designs - thirty-five years have passed since Return Of The Jedi, after all. Given the sheer scale of the assembled soldiers here, with battalions and flanking TIE Fighters reaching far into the distance, this is clearly the main base for the First Order (rumoured to be called "Starkiller base" in a rather cool in-joke). This snowy, hilly planet must play a pretty big part in the movie then - it's also (presumably) where Ren first ignited his controversial weapon and Poe Dameron flew his newly designed X-Wing over the lake. Aside from this one shot, all the trailer offers up is some impressive editing. And, to be honest, that's fine with me - I'd rather more of this repeated footage than lots of new shots detailing the whole film.
