3. Supreme Leader Snoke

More like Supreme Leader SMOKE, because he looks like he's been smoking 60-a-day since the Battle of Yavin. Anyway...

This is the big one from the new images, at least in terms of showing something really new. Since Episode VII we've wondered exactly what Snoke looks like in-person, and now we see him in all his horrifying glory.

The gold robes - which were revealed by a LEGO set - are a hint towards someone very rich, but it's the face that's really interesting. It's even more deformed than previously thought, with horrible holes in his neck, while the wrinkled-skin suggests he's been following Emperor Palpatine's skincare regime. He does, however, look very much like a human character, the eyes especially. It also looks more practical, even if there's no real hint of Andy Serkis in there, but will presumably be enhanced with CGI in the finished product.

Does his appearance suggest he deformed himself in a similar way to Palpatine, or is it a result of a battle, which is perhaps why he wants to destroy the Skywalker lineage?
