The Dark Knight Rises: 5 Moments Straight From The Comics

3. No Man's Land: Gordon's Blue Boys

What Nolan Took: When Gotham becomes overrun by violent gangs and the citizens are stuck with no one getting in or out, it falls to the cops that are still left to keep people safe. Gordon leads his own gang of cops into combat against the other gangs, trying to do what good they can in the Batman€™s absence. What Nolan Changed: In the comics, Gordon€™s Blue Boys have a lot more members and are significantly more violent than in the film. In many ways, they become almost as bad as the gangs they are trying to defend against. In the film, Gordon has to work with a small band of cops up until the very end. There also isn€™t as much emphasis put on territory in the film as in the comics.
