A previously unseen bonus clip of Batman vs. Bane, included as a special feature on the Blu-ray which is released today, has been made available online and can be viewed now in the video player below. It reveals a behind-the-scenes look at the epic sub-subterranean fracas between the iconic hero and villain pairing.
The bonus clip features some introductory commentary from writer/director Christopher Nolan and is interspersed with personal insights on the fight from Christian Bale and Tom Hardy themselves. Several other members of the crew also reveal insider information into the production process behind the visceral fight scene.
The Dark Knight Rises itself joins Bruce Wayne eight years after he has retired the Batman from action, taking on the blame for the death of Harvey Dent in The Dark Knight and effectively turning public opinion against his alter-ego. But things change drastically when Bane, the masked terrorist, arrives in Gotham and launches a deadly plan that forces the Dark Knight out of his self-imposed retirement.
The Dark Knight Rises is available now on Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack, DVD and Digital Download and stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Gary Oldman. You can check out the bonus Bats vs. Bane clip here:
