Updated: It looks like the numbers have something to do with Dr. Leonid Pavil's twitter page and from the looks of things they are coordinates we need to type in to get this image he posted unlocked. The image looks like it could be an aerial image of a city. The clock has ran out on 'Operation Early Bird' and the latest Warner Bros viral campaign for The Dark Knight Rises has officially kicked off. The website for the film at www.thedarkknightrises.com has been updated with a sound file that when played features different people reciting a bunch of numbers before a 'ding ding ding ding ding' sound plays. Is it code for something, coordinates, a website URL or what? I've had this playing for what feels like forever and it's a particularly eerie soundbite that changes in tone and anger and speed. Really, really creepy when you are in a place by yourself. The stuff of nightmares! What any of this actually means well I don't have a clue but it sure sounds like it's the first of a wild goose chase that we all have to go on before we can unlock the latest promotional reward. When it's all said and done will it be the trailer or the a new teaser poster / image? Who knows? I'm sure smarter people than me will work it out. Meanwhile you can check out my run-down of the web's reviews of prologue that had it's world premiere last night at the IMAX theater at Universal Citywalk in Hollywood. The Dark Knight Rises is due July 20th, 2012.
