Anne Hathaway was photographed yesterday (Sunday September 4th) filming a fight scene in down town Los Angeles on the set of the new Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises.
The actress who plays Selina Kyle, better known as Catwoman, can be seen fighting with a baddie (all the time holding an apple) while a young boy watches.
Can anyone figure out the significance of the apple?
Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Nestor Carbonell (as the Mayor of Gotham) all return with new faces being Anne Hathaway (Catwoman), Tom Hardy (Bane), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Donald Blake, a cop), Marion Cotillard (Miranda Tate, an employee of Wayne Enterprises), Juno Temple (probably Holly Robinson, a young girl on the streets of Gotham who Catwoman takes in), Josh Pence (a young Ra’s Al Ghul in flashbacks) and more.
The Dark Knight Rises is due July 20th, 2012.

Maybe you should just have a picture preview on the main page with SPOILER ALERT and then put the pictures in the actual article. Even the tiny thumbnails seem to irk the shiiiii* outta people.
I think the apple isn’t really significant. I’m guessing she is helping the young boy in the photo from the thug. Catwoman is an expert fighter, and she’s fighting with basically one hand.
I predict she’ll beat the thug and give the apple to the boy after.
