The third trailer for The Dark Knight Rises will be attached to screenings of Marvel's The Avengers, which opens in the US on May 4th. Nolan Fans grabbed a screenshot from the Warner Bros. Pictures Exhibitor website which confirms that new trailer, which we knew was coming imminently, will be attached to 3D, 2D and IMAX prints of Marvel's big ensemble. There's no confirmation as to whether the trailer will be attached to UK prints of The Avengers which opens in the UK a week early, next Friday 27th. My guess given Warner Bros past history with these things would be not but I can't say for sure. Also there's no word on when the trailer will be available to view online but again my guess would be the weekend after it has played in theaters, so probably around May 7th. I have to say it is a really smart move from Warner Bros to attach the third trailer for The Dark Knight Rises with the other big superhero movie of the year. The Avengers is going to make a bucket load of money, easily $1 billion dollars and there's no better advertisement for the Caped Crusader as this is the target audience. As for what we can expect in the trailer itself? Well from what I've heard, be excited. Spanish actor Claudio Serrano, who dubs Christian Bale's Batman in that country, tweeted this week;
€œI can only say that the TDKR trailer 3 is € WOW!!€
