The Expendables 3 Review: 10 Things That Sucked

Easily the worst movie in the series.

The Expendables 3 is little over a week away from release, and the hype train is building, or at least, it should be. However, with a high-quality pirate screener of the movie leaking to torrent sites two weeks ago, Stallone and Lionsgate will surely be panicked that their third action all-star extravaganza might not live up to the box office success of the previous two films. If it doesn't, it won't be because of piracy (even though that'll be the reason no doubt given by Sly), but because The Expendables 3 just isn't a very good film. The review embargo for EX3 broke earlier this week, and the movie currently sits at a dispiriting 33% on Rotten Tomatoes, lower than both previous films, even if only a handful of reviews make up the consensus so far. Still, we've seen the movie, and we're in agreement with the current majority: despite its stupendous cast, EX3 is easily the worst of the Expendables movies, and may well set some unfortunate precedents for the inevitable Expendables 4 should it defy the pirates and become a huge box office hit. Bear in mind that SOME SPOILERS DO FOLLOW, not that there's exactly much in this movie that will surprise you. What are you expecting from EX3? Let us know in the comments!
