The Second Star Wars Spinoff May Be Han Solo Vs Boba Fett
Just when things couldn't get more exciting.
Remember how ever since it was announced we'd be getting Star Wars spinoffs to accompany the regular Episodes there's been rumours that the first two would focus on Boba Fett and Han Solo respectively? Well it looks like those movies are actually the same one! The Schmoes are reporting that the second Star Wars Anthology film (the first, Rogue One, will hit in 2016) will feature both Solo and Fett. The two most popular anti-heroes in the whole franchise together as the focus of their own movie? Woah! Move over Batman V Superman and Captain America: Civil War - this is the showdown we want to see. There's lots of other exciting tidbits from the Schmoes' source - Chewie, Lando and Bossk are also set to appear and the tone will hew closer to a western (unlike Rogue One's war movie vibe). This sounds very much like the bounty hunter film that's been perpetually mentioned over the past couple of years. Jon Faverau and Matthew Vaughn are currently the favourites to direct the film, which Josh Trank recently vacated. Both are solid, proven choices, although Vaughn is the one who gets you more giddy. Star Wars: The Force Awakens is out on 18th December 2015. Star Wars: Rogue One is out on 16th December 2016. Star Wars: Episode VIII is out on 26th May 2017. Star Wars: Han Vs Boba (suggested title) will arrive some time in later 2017/2018. Don't like Star Wars? Tough.
