The Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer has finally dropped, and it's absolutely stacked with Easter Eggs, references, and hidden details that True Believers are sure to love. However, there's a strong chance that one reference in particular may have eluded quite a large segment of fans, coming in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment when Peter Parker picks up a passport from the local Post Office. (Try saying that one three times in a row.)

Peter's gearing up for a trip abroad - a "gap yah", some would say - and though the more obvious joke with the passport is Tom Holland's hilarious facial expression, there's another hidden on the ID too. No, it isn't Marvel forgetting to put the dates down (although their determination to not mess up the timeline anymore is commendable), but instead Peter Parker's birthday, which is now confirmed to be August 10 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Why is that noteworthy? Well, if you're a particularly keen web-head, you'll know that Spider-Man's first ever appearance came in Amazing Fantasy #15, which was published in 1962. The specific date that year? August 10, meaning Tom Holland's Peter Parker literally shares the exact same birthday as his comic book counterpart, forgetting the '62 part of course.

It might not be the most eye-catching shot in the Far From Home trailer, but in terms of Marvel paying homage to the source material, this reference is up there with the very best.
