Hammer's planned sequel to this year's highly successful, modern classic ghost story "The Woman in Black" has a new plot synopsis. Shock Till You Drop have the exclusive on the follow-up, titled "The Woman in Black: Angels of Death". The movie won't star Daniel Radcliffe and will instead focus on a female character. Already the message boards online are saying Emma Watson should get the part, in some weird Harry Potter passing of the torch! Here's the plot;
Seized by the government and converted into a military mental hospital during World War II, the sudden arrival of disturbed soldiers to Eel Marsh Harsh has awoken its darkest inhabitant. Eve, a beautiful young nurse, is sent to the house to care for the patients but soon realizes she must save them from more than their own demons. Despite Eve€™s efforts to stop her, one by one they fall victim to the Woman in Black.
Jon Crocker, who was story editor on the original film, is currently writing the sequel which likely go into production next year. No director has been hired yet and perhaps original helmer James Watkins is awaiting the completion of the screenplay before deciding if he wants to return in the director's chair. "The Woman in Black" grossed $127.7 million and has become one of What Culture's favourite movies of the year.
