Tim Allen attached to Disney's Yosemite Three

244_allen_tim_100306.jpgTim Allen is well and truly back. The veteran comedy actor appeared in four movies last year and he already has a massive hit under his belt for 2007, with the money making buddy road movie Wild Hogs. Variety are reporting that Disney have acquired the spec script of Yosemite Three and that they plan to use it as a starring vehicle for Allen. The writing team behind the upcoming Sean William Scott/Billy Bob Thornton comedy Mr. Woodcock will co-scribe the script.
Allen will play a corporate employee who heads off on a company retreat. Bored with a mandated nature hike, he and two others hole up in a bar and are reported missing in Yosemite National Park. They longer they stay missing, the more popular they become in news reports.
Well I would be lying if I said it sounded good. As I haven't posted the trailer for Mr. Woodcock before, I thought I would just remind you of what these co-writers are capable of. You know as far as these crappy comedy movies go, I don't think this one looks all that bad...
