Watch THE AVENGERS Trailer - Early Leak Hits Web!

We don't know where it's come from but a bootlegged version of The Avengers trailer has hit the web!

Thanks to WhatCulture! reader Hero Supreme for alerting us to what appears to be a leaked teaser trailer for The Avengers, presumably a last minute addition to prints of Captain Amercia: The First Avenger that opens in the U.S. this week. Where the leak has come from is currently a mystery as the only press showings I've heard of were some L.A. critics screenings over the weekend but I imagine there was a zero tolerance in terms of recording equipment and mobile phones that would never have got passed security. WhatCulture! sees the movie Tuesday at the NY press screening. There are some reports that this could be a Captain America post-credits teaser for The Avengers (remember this is the last Marvel superhero movie released before the big event), which would make sense as there's definitely a few spoilers to what must happen in Captain America: The First Avenger - although Cinema Blend, who attended the aforementioned L.A. press screenings, report that this trailer was not shown. Perhaps Marvel were waiting to debut the trailer post-weekend or post-week-weekend (as it's not out in the U.K. until the Friday after), and what would have been in glorious HD. That way everyone will have seen the WWII adventures of Steve Rogers. Anyway, my advice would be to wait until you've seen Captain America AND wait for a HD version. I've watched three seconds of this footage and for a movie I've waited years to see (I was dreaming of an Avengers movie decades ago) then I can wait a few more weeks to see it properly, I'm sure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6nX0fpfurw
