Watch THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Pittsburgh Press Conference

Production on The Dark Knight Rises has now moved to Pittsburgh where Christopher Nolan will be shooting his movie in the Steel City until August 20th, and yesterday the director and his star Christian Bale were present at a special press conference celebrating the fact that Batman has come to down. Nolan;
"It's a very beautiful city on a very impressive scale and that hasn't lost its human scale... That is very impressive and very hard to find... When you're making a large-scale action film that has to showcase the vitality and size of a large American city but also involves a certain amount of disruption to that city in order to make the action credible on screen there needs to be a lot of cooperation from that city."
Pittsburgh is of course the new Gotham City, replacing Chicago that I had quite grown to quite like as a filmic Gotham in Batman Begins and especially The Dark Knight. On Wednesday, the Hallmark building on Fifth Avenue welcomed the Batman crew to the city with the erection of a Batsignal. With Tom Hardy's Bane coming to down the city needs a hero... There's a fair few SPOILERS in Coming Soon's write up of the press conference but even though they are likely to feature in the trailer (including what season of the year the film is likely to be set in) I've decided not to mention them, not really worth it. I'm currently looking for a full version of the press conference but for now all we have is this very short video of Christian Bale's appearance; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4LIr81DsZE (via Batman on Film)
