Wonder Woman Movie: 5 Actresses & Directors Who Would Be Great

Eva Green1 DC has really been fumbling in its attempt to play Keeping Up With The Fieges. It thinks it's in a race against time with Marvel, but that's not even close to true. Marvel has already won. It's exactly like if I started right now and tried to beat Michael Jordan in a championship game. They're not racing, because Marvel already finished that race and almost nailed all of it. DC's most recent error has been neglecting the third major pillar of the Justice League team it's trying to get up off the ground. Superman is getting his second upcoming movie, and we're already seeing the return of Batman, but the third major part of their wrecking crew that they're focusing all of their attention on is... The Flash? No offense to Misters Wally West or Barry Allen, but when I think Justice League the third major component that comes to my mind is Wonder Woman. As the only major female superhero on the team (the occasional Hawk Girl notwithstanding), including Diana the Amazon in your Justice League prelude is more important in our current feminist upswing society than ever before. The main reason DC claims it hasn't gotten the ball rolling on a Wonder Woman flick is that it's too hard to do and people won't know what to think or react to it. But I say that if you get the right creative team behind the piece and the right lady in the star-spangled undies making a Wonder Woman movie isn't going to be any more difficult than one where a rich guy builds large armored vehicles and bat-shaped throwing stars to fight off the forces of evil. Here are my picks for five actresses we could put inside the suit and five directors who would be great helming the project.
