OWF had the opportunity to watch a preview of X-Men: First Class yesterday and although full reviews are embargoed until the 25th first reactions have been gramted… Simply put I loved it. It’s a superior, exciting, and intelligent comic book movie.

Taking the X-universe back to its 60′s roots was a stroke of Bryan Singer inspired genius.
There’s a classic cameo, and plenty of new faces. Basically I pretty much stopped taking notes after the first 15 minutes as I just wanted to sit back and enjoy… Read the full official review on May 25th.

You just made my day.
Yesyesyeyesyesyesyesyesyesyes. With Singer and Vaughn, I knew this would be quaility.
Did you see the screening at Canne or was it somewhere else?
Hiya, it was at a press screening in London at 20th Century Fox HQ…
I am so glad you loved it. I had a feeling it would be good. I can’t wait to see it. Hopefully the fans will give it the chance it deserves and it becomes a success at the box office. With the director, cast and backstory (x and Magneto) I didn’t see how it could fail.
