Jake Gittes was famously told to forget about Chinatown in the film of the same name, but it's neo-noir deriviative L.A. Noire clearly had no trouble recalling exactly what the City of Angels was like in the '40s. Rockstar are the Christopher Wren of video games, and their knack for city building is no better illustrated than their beautifully faithful reproduction of The Big Orange during Hollywood's golden era.
