10 Hotly Anticipated Video Games That Could Still Release In 2015

Okay games industry, deliver these and all is forgiven.

As 2015 barrels ahead and Bloodborne looks to be taking everyone's expectations and far surpassing them, it feels like we might finally be on the cusp of a paradigm shift. The general aura surrounding the current generation so far has definitely become that everything is a bit underwhelming or disappointing, and from Titanfall to Watch Dogs, Destiny to The Order: 1886, so far nothing's captured the quintessential magic needed to ensnare a wider audience. Why? Because they all feel like production line-created works, box-ticked to completion from one spreadsheet passed amongst thousands and thousands of workers all trying to contribute to one vision. They say 'a camel is a horse designed by committee', meaning if you have one idea for something and everyone throws in their two cents the results may be functional enough, but nothing like you intended. So, with the first-party slate being fairly empty for the year and E3 only a couple of months away, everyone is gathering up their chips and betting all on many major killer apps being announced or at least shown. Some of the titles on here are dead certs to make an appearance or release this year despite no official announcement - industry rumours accurately predicted the new Rock Band back in January - and there's a couple of others that lean more towards wishful thinking, yet are backed up with solid chatter online. Whatever happens at E3 this year it's going to be historic, the industry's never been in a rut like this before, and you'd best start tempering your expectations immediately.
