10 Hotly-Anticipated Video Games You Probably Won't Get To Play This Generation

At this point, I’m not sure that Day Z is even going to be released for the PC, never mind the PS4 or Xbox One. Hitting Steam Early Access years ago and pitched as a mod before even that, the zombie survival game has continually missed release date deadlines at every step of its development history.

And with the game’s lead seemingly unsatisfied with working on the project, it seems that whatever enthusiasm people had for the game has waned since its initial preliminary release. Even worse, the title has spawned multiple copy-cats that have not only completely ripped off the game's hardcore survival multiplayer experience, but actually managed to release onto the market before the completed version of Day Z itself.

As of writing, the game is listed as still being in the early alpha stage, with a release on the Xbox One under its early access program allegedly scheduled for some time before the end of the year. But that’s not a complete experience, and it’s looking like the final version of the game won’t be ready for at least another few years yet.
