10 Secret Game Over Screens That Were Absolute Genius

1. Far Cry 4 - Sometimes It Pays To Listen To The Bad Guy

Bye Bye Pagan
Ubisoft

If there's one thing that Far Cry games do well, it's villains. Far Cry 3 introduced Vaas, the psycho pirate who was terrifyingly insane, and Far Cry 4 gave us Pagan Min, the flamboyant tyrannical ruler of Kyrat.

As Ajay Ghale, your job is to escape from Pagan, join the resistance and take back Kyrat from his evil clutches, so you can finally lay your late mother's ashes to rest at "Lakshmana".

Or at least, that's how it seems. In reality, you can end the game and find out what's going on much easier than that.

At the start of the game, you're captured by Pagan only for the resistance to try and break you out - so he rushes off to deal with the situation while telling you to stay put. And strangely, despite the game obviously wanting you to run off and start shooting bad guys, you can do exactly that. Waiting for around thirteen minutes will cause Min to come back into the room, having dealt with the intruders, and explain the intricate details of the plot, including how your family is related to the rebellion, as well as what Lakshmana is - and then the credits roll.

You can effectively bypass the whole game, just by messing around with your kidnappers stuff for a bit while he runs an errand. Someone at Ubisoft is obviously a fan of speed runs.
