10 Things GTA 6 Can Learn From Red Dead Redemption 2

1. Dead Eye Can Save Middling Gunplay

RDR's signature Dead Eye slow-motion shooting mechanic returns for the sequel, and it's an absolute hoot. Making use of Dead Eye can elevate even the most generic shootout set-piece, while of course making the annoyingly ill-finessed gunplay a little easier to deal with.

GTA V did in fairness feature a similar Bullet Time mechanic as a "superpower" for Michael, but it'd be great to see GTA 6 adopt Dead Eye wholesale, if only because it makes Rockstar's fairly rote combat far more enjoyable.

Many will disagree with this, insisting that Dead Eye needs to be a special trait reserved in full form for the RDR games, but considering that GTA V basically already went there (kinda), they may as well just fully commit next time by making it a key component of shootouts.
