10 Video Games Based On Movies That Actually Didn't Suck

Spider Man 21

Video games based on movie properties have been popping up since home consoles first started getting a major push. Most of the time, these games are seen as nothing more than a shameless way of plugging a studio's product, and fans and critics alike make it no secret that they are more than willing to call them out on their s**t.

I think we all know the games that I'm talking about here, so there really is no need to rehash the same old list. Instead, I want to take a look at the games based on films that developers got right. It has happened before, right?

While researching this list, I was surprised to find the amount of times that this has actually happened. We like to view these releases with a healthy dose of skepticism, because when a good one actually comes out, it's something of a miracle. With that in mind, let's take a look at 10 video games based on movies that actually didn't suck.

I'm a fan of pop-culture in all mediums: Music, Film, Gaming, Comics, TV, Whatever. I can generally find something enjoyable in even the worst trash. I guess as a B-Horror enthusiast, I kind of have to. Currently I'm an author working on a manuscript for a crime novel, and attending school to be an Environmental Health and Safety Technician. In the past I've made a go at running in an election for MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly) for my hometown of Glace Bay. I was 23 at the time, and though I lost (by like a lot), I learned a lot more about politics in a month than I ever learned. Get at me on Twitter @DanWilsonWC
