15 Most Hilariously Useless Enemies In Gaming History

5. Wolves - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

By no means exclusive to Skyrim, the wolf has become an established staple of the RPG enemy roster. While based on a very severe real-life threat, video game wolves just don't seem to carry the same clout as their real world brethren. Any survivor of real life wolf attack would likely balk at the suggestion these vicious predators could be underwhelming in any way, but a pixelated pack are disappointingly poor. Largely this seems due to the fact that video games so regularly have these hunters, renowned for working in groups, happily attacking players on their own. Video game wolves also tend to announce any impending attack with a screeching howl, giving gamers the chance to prepare for the meagre threat they are about to pose. A well placed bash to the head later, and the pack-less beast lays slumped at the adventurer's feet. Pathetic.
