16 Crucial Questions For 2016's Most Anticipated Video Games

Will they suck? Or more importantly - will they even come out in 2016?

2015 has been a massive year for gaming and 2016 is set to be just as busy, what with beloved franchises coming to an end, others being resurrected after an absence, one long-awaited title finally getting released, and of course, Call of Duty staking out that coveted early November release as per usual. Many of the year's biggest games are still majorly unknown quantities, though, and so gamers naturally have a ton of questions they'd like answered before even considering factoring them into their annual gaming budget. In an age where the gaming industry has never felt more anti-consumer, it's important to scrutinise and ask as many questions as possible. And so, as we look at the biggest and boldest titles due for release over the next year, it's time to ask those crucial plot questions we're all dying to know, and more importantly, speculate on which games will and won't land with players.

16. Will Nathan Drake Die In Uncharted 4?

Release Date: March 18 Uncharted 4's grimly suggestive sub-title "A Thief's End" certainly invites the possibility that steely protagonist Nathan Drake might meet a sticky demise at the game's conclusion, a possibility backed up by an original teaser trailer much darker in tone than previews for previous games. It would certainly be a dramatic way to close things out... Prediction: Drake lives. The title's too obvious if it's really true, plus more recent gameplay footage suggests the tone isn't that dark, and it doesn't seem likely that Naughty Dog would definitely kill off the hero of their most lucrative franchise, as it honestly doesn't seem massively likely that this truly is the final Uncharted game, does it?
