3. Asking One Of The Most Profound Questions In Gaming History - Horizon Zero Dawn

Summarising Horizon's labyrinthine plot requires a ton of philosophical and scientific insight to fully appreciate, but one of its best parts is a fascinating question to ask any group of friends.

Coming after Aloy has learned of the Zero Dawn Project and its attempt to compartmentalise all human knowledge - the good and the bad - into data banks that would then be left for future generations, one Ted Faro (who's financing the whole thing) decides to delete all the information, also killing all those involved.

Why? Because he posits that passing on knowledge of humankind will only lead to another race repeating the same mistakes.
