18 Most Iconic Signature Moves In Video Game History

15. Sam Fisher's Split Jump - Splinter Cell

Over the course of three main Splinter Cell games, Fisher's split jump went from being a strange timing-based move only a handful of us could pull off in a pinch, to in Chaos Theory having Ubisoft go "Oh hell, let them do it whenever they want", thankfully making it a single button press. Thing is, although such a random act of athleticism would define Splinter Cell's unique brand of ice-cool espionage, until Ubisoft took mercy on us and freed up the ability to pull it off whenever we liked, too many Fishers were listlessly hopping on the spot in corridors of varying widths, just hoping it was going to happen. Truly, it was a beautifully useless sight.
