5 Current-Gen Games That Should Be Made Into Movies

1. Halo

Halo Ah yes, Halo; the most anticipated video-game movie on the face of the Earth and yet we don't even know if it's in production. With the release of Stewart Hendler's 'Forward Unto Dawn', we certainly know that a Halo movie starring Master Chief is quite possible. There are many things long-time fans of Halo would like to see on screen: the Arbiter, Master Chief's childhood, battles taking place on Halo and of course, Master Chief's face. Halo is possibly one of the only sci-fi universes that can go head-to-head with Star Wars. The game's likeable characters, constant change of scenery and overall story is sure to make this a dream come true when finally released on the big screen. These five games may not be highly anticipated by other gamers, but they definitely have potential. With the next-gen consoles on their way; closure through movies is possibly the best way to end the lives of current-gen consoles. Sleeping Dogs, Bioshock, Dead Space, Red Dead Redemption and Halo are all great games but they have the potential to turn into great movies. Even if they don't turn into movies, it'd still be nice to enjoy a YouTube channel of weekly live-action episodes. Here's to the next generation of gaming. Like this article?
