Gamerscore. Be careful; to the right mind it can be as addictive as crack. Before achievements and trophies came along, people just had to take your word about your daring gaming exploits. But maybe sometimes that was for the best. Nowadays, it's impossible to get in a guilty hour on The Sims without being harassed about it over Xbox Live by your totally L33t buddies. The fact is that these days, you're time in game is documented for all to see. Sometimes - when you just nailed that impossible manoeuvre, when you just came off that unbelievable kill streak or when you attained that rarest of item - you want people to know. Other times, you just wish you could somehow delete the evidence but keep the points. You're awarded achievements and trophies for all sorts of activities, but every now and again a game comes along that practically gifts you with that wonderful 'blip' just for showing up. Some are almost insulting in how easy they are to unlock, like someone has just presented you with a gift that turns out to be a turd in a box. Let's take a look at 5 of those achievements, but be warned if you choose to go for them; you're gamerscore might go up, but your credibility resets to zero.
