8 Weirdest Enemies Cut From Video Games

7. Bond Man (Mega Man)

Speaking of bosses, the original Mega Man is famous for its assortment of Robot Master fights, battles that pit the player against a boss who has a particular set of skills. Ice Man, for example, uses ice-based attacks, Fire Man wields fire, and Bomb Man absolutely loves an explosion or two.

And there was almost one more included in the game: Bond Man. Bond Man was envisioned by Keiji Inafune as Mega Man's seventh Robot Master. The game was originally set to feature eight of these bosses, but due to time constraints, this was brought down to six, the roster we see today. This meant that Bond Man had to go, but because he had already been designed before he was cut, we still have some information about him.

Fire Man had fire and Elec Man had electricity, but Bond Man... he had glue. The boss would've used an insanely strong adhesive against Mega Man during their battle, and when Mega Man beat him and inherited his powers, this would've given the player the ability to freeze enemies in place (this skill was passed to the Ice Slasher instead, Ice Man's special weapon). Never underestimate the power of a Pritt Stick, folks.

It's been speculated that one of the reasons Bond Man was cut is because both he and Bomb Man start with the letter "B", which, bafflingly, would've caused some difficulties when designing the game's UI.
