9 Delayed Video Games We Can't Wait To Play In 2015

Oh, so that's where this year's other big-hitters went.

It's no secret that most of us bought our shiny new consoles to play a heap of titles that have either been delayed or turned out nowhere near as good as they were supposed to be - but still, thanks to a string of recent releases and a solid slate between now and Christmas hopes are holding high for the new hardware once again. Come 2015 though it's going to be head-down n' game time, as we all grip the controllers ever-tighter and say farewell to daylight hours, welcoming in that sweet boss-felling silence of 3am, covered in the remnants of whichever dried snacks managed to make the trip along with us. It's a pretty magical experience in its own sort of way, and with all due respect to everything that's come out so far, there's not been anything that's hooked us into a gameplay feedback loop that was so enjoyable we just couldn't tear ourselves away whatsoever. Next year with any luck some of that will change, as after the year mark passed with both the PS3 and Xbox 360 we started getting the likes of Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect and Bioshock all trickling in and dominating their respective genres, not to mention the industry overall. Although 2014 has been a bit of a tissue-grabber when it comes to dreams dashed thanks to a myriad of delays, we're all the more closer to each one of these coming out in just a few more months.
