Assassin’s Creed 3 is on the snowing horizon and the obvious question on the minds of gamers is; which historical figures do I get to rip away from their family and friends? As of yet it is anyone’s guess, but I have put together a little list who I think would be amusing to murder.
8: Richard Montgomery
Richard Montgomery was an Irish-born soldier who first served in the British Army. He later became a Major General in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. His death is a pretty amusing one considering he basically led his men into a barrage of cannons, muskets, and grapeshot.
This could be a nice way to start the game by completely decimating an entire squadron in Battlefields Park as it has lovely scenery…
7: James Abercrombie
James Abercrombie was a Colonel in the British army who led the Grenadier Battalion at the Battle of Bunker Hill. Even though the British took the land, they lost a huge number of men including James Abercrombie himself. This would make an interesting set piece having to fight your way thought hundreds of soldiers battling one and other to get to James Abercrombie and delivering the gunshot that killed him.
6: John Adams
John Adam was one of five men who were asked to write the Declaration of Independence and also helped write the peace treaty with England which was called the Treaty of Paris. He was also the lawyer who defended British soldiers accused of killing Crispus Attucks. Having such a significant American defend the British could be a possible reason to have him assassinated. Plus as a little slice of truth just to shut the mouths of the historical fans, John Adams could mutter on his death bed “Thomas Jefferson still survives” unaware that Thomas Jefferson died a few hours before him.
