Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag Gets A Release Date

Black Flag Early yesterday morning, a promotional video for Assassin's Creed 4 was leaked online. While not giving us much, it seemed to show a release date and confirm that AC4 will be available for the next-gen consoles as well. The video itself was taken down immediately after being put up, but the image (below) still gave us some information. As of now Assassin's Creed 4 will release on October 29th, 2013. Another cool thing about this screenshot, is that it hints at a cool pre-order bonus, a Todd McFarlane collectible poster. For those of you who don't know, Todd is a comic book artist who has worked on titles such as Spawn and Spider-Man. Hopefully his works are up to par with Assassin's Creed 3's Jim Lee exclusive poster.

It seems as though the game will release around the same time that the Assassin's Creed 3's DLC is scheduled to finish. If this plan works out, gamers won't have to go to long without some Assassin's Creed. News for Assassin's Creed 4 has been plentiful this week and, on March 5th, Ubisoft will announce more information regarding the latest adventure in the Animus. As soon as we get more info it will be posted here, so keep checking for more AC news. It looks like we're getting this game a lot sooner than expected. Are you ready to unite under the Black Flag?
