Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Huge Details In The New Trailer You Totally Missed

The entire Bat-family is starting to come together.

Another month, another Arkham Knight trailer - and boy was it juicy. Rocksteady finally gave fans a glimpse into the true extent of the Arkhamverse 'Bat-Family', and they look truly prepared for war. Including faces both old and new to the series, the 'All Who Follow You' trailer showed off some very interesting aspects of not only Knight's combat, but its narrative as well - illustrating perfectly why Batman is only as good as his supporting cast of characters. Nightwing, Robin and Catwoman all look to be playable in Knight's story mode, which is a great relief to those who were worried that most of Batman's allies would be relegated to the challenge maps once more. Just what role they'll play in Rocksteady's finale to the Arkham Saga is still unknown, but this trailer does drop a few key details that may give us insight into where they're going. Though those who see Batman as a lone wolf may come to loath this trailer a great deal, this was easily Rocksteady's best reveal yet, and despite an abundance of rather obvious additions to the saga being shown off, there were quite a few subtle things included that will no doubt impact the game in a massive way too. Indeed, some key elements of Batman's lore popped up in this trailer, and they're certainly more significant than past nods and winks to the wider DC Universe as we know it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CINA288fZUs

Content Producer/Presenter

WhatCulture's very own resident movie guy, Ewan has been working in the content creation biz for over 10 years now, having started as a freelance contributor to WhatCulture Gaming all the way back in 2015. After graduating with a First-Class Honours in History from Northumbria University in 2017 (where he won a prize for a totally killer dissertation on the Watergate years), Ewan took on the role of Comics Editor at WhatCulture and quickly developed WhatCulture Comics into one of the biggest superhero-focused channels on YouTube. He followed this with a brief hiatus at Screen Rant in 2021, where he worked across the Gaming and Film sections as a writer and editor, before returning to WhatCulture as a Senior Content Producer / Presenter in 2023. He started his own podcast, We Love Dad Movies, in 2022, and has contributed several written pieces to the Eisner-nominated comics website Shelfdust as well. In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
