Batman: Arkham Knight Is STILL Broken On PC

This is absolutely ridiculous.

Come on Warner Bros., I want to believe you're better than this - although the disgusting state of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC and Mortal Kombat X's Fatality microtransactions continue to paint a very different picture. Even though Arkham Knight launched as a technical showcase on consoles back in June 23rd, 2015, some four months later the once-recalled PC version has arrived... and it's still not a fully-functioning product. Eurogamer and Digital Foundry are reporting that even with so many months of work, the frame rate is still unstable, texture work and general graphical quality rarely holds steady, and if you don't have a hefty rig to run it on, you barely stand a chance of getting it working in the first place. It seems those in possession of top-end PCs will mostly be okay, whereas the rest of us continue to be mostly neglected. There's a patch note that also mentions Knight requiring a whopping 12GB of RAM to get anything close to a smooth experience, which coupled with pricey graphics cards and a game engine that hasn't been remotely optimised for PC, only results in disappointment. For console owners, Rocksteady and WB have been on top of DLC packs (because of course they have), and you can look forward to Mr. Freeze turning up in Gotham come December. There is a slight reprieve from Rocksteady in that the Combat Arenas of Arkham Knight have recently been patched to allow for multiple characters too, and a November patch will let you do the same in the Predator maps. Is it too little, too late for a game that should've been so much more at launch? Let us know in the comments what you think, and if you want to submit your own content, please create an account!
