Battlefront 3: What To Expect From Disney's Star Wars Takeover

Star Wars TV Series

Evidence of one of George Lucas' more common habits; lying. Back when Revenge of the Sith released, Lucas announced plans of a Star Wars TV series that would serve to fill the 20 year gap between episodes 3 and 4. Once again, we got less than thin air, with Lucas citing 'financial restraints' preventing the production of a series. Disney is ginourmous, with total assets amounting to nearly $80billion, funding isn't an issue and if the newly announced SHIELD TV series is anything to go by, this isn't a long shot. Release wise, this might not come until after Episode 7, as Disney finds its feet with the franchise, and the direction it wants to head in.
