Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 - Ranking Every Specialist From Worst To Best

In case you aren't keeping on top of industry sales figures, Black Ops 4 just landed Activision's biggest digital release in history. Sufficed to say, a TON of players are leaping into Treyarch's latest blend of futurism and boots-on-the-ground gameplay, and in fairness, it's the tightest Call of Duty to date.

Comprising "three pillars" of gameplay; Multiplayer, Blackout battle royale and Zombies, Blops 4 has lost the signature COD campaign in favour of being the best multiplayer on the market. Core gameplay is shaken up in some worthwhile and fresh ways too. Now you heal manually, Specialist soldiers are more the order of the day than ever, and Treyarch have borrowed Destiny/Overwatch's "Ultimate attacks", giving each player a specific role in every match.

Thankfully, these new elements don't distract from the signature Call of Duty experience. Rather, they enhance it, providing more variety to the occasionally stale "spawned, got shot, repeat" gameplay that's now over a decade old.

Gunplay is lightning-quick and responsive as hell, but with a greater focus on Specialists and specific abilities, you'll need to know who to pick (and who to avoid).
