Crash Bandicoot To Return At E3 2016?

A chance tweet may have revealed everything.

Oh my apples! A tweet from Playstation's middle eastern account has hinted that the legendary Crash Bandicoot may be making a return. The last Crash game released by Naughty Dog (who are owned by Sony) was Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, way back in 1998, followed by various other developers releasing an array of disappointing entries including Crash of the Titans, Nitro Kart and Mind Over Mutant. Needless to say, the very idea of seeing the character back in the hands of the loveable Naughty Dog (which is as yet, completely unconfirmed), would be very exciting indeed. https://twitter.com/PlayStation_ME/status/696008709231607808/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw The tweet itself roughly translates to "Most Wanted: Where Are You Crash?" What exactly Sony might have up their sleeve for Crash isn't clear, but surely this is more than just a random post or staff member serving up some nostalgia? PlayStation CEO Shaun Layton also recently wore a Crash t-shirt onstage in front of millions at PSX 2015 - another tantalising hint that they're considering bringing back the orange marsupial once again. Could this be the first effort to drum up some hype over a future release? Maybe a cool reboot or remaster of the originals are on the way? Crash was classic platforming at it's best, so for him to get any sort of new release would please gamers the world over. Let us know in the comments if you'd want a new Crash, a full remaster or something else!

I work at a college as a janitor even though I feel like I'm smarter than most of the people who go there. Sometimes I see an equation written on a blackboard like half an equation and I just figure it out. Really though I'm a Journalism graduate so I like to write words and stuff. Getting back into it thanks to WhatCulture! Oh and my best friend is Ben Affleck...
