EA Sports UFC: 15 Most Ridiculous Glitches

From hauntings in the Octagon to flying fighters; we've seen some insane glitches.

EA SportsEA SportsEven before EA Sports UFC hit store shelves just over a week ago there were a worrying number of wacky glitch videos circulating on Youtube from the game€™s demo. The demo featured only two playable fighters €“ Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson €“ yet was plagued by bugs and glitches which were at times unintentional comic genius. Though these issues were good for a few laughs, the gamers planning on buying a copy clearly hoped that EA would put in some elbow grease to get the game running without error upon release. We are disappointed to say that it has been abundantly clear since launch day that EA didn€™t iron out the demo€™s many issues. The game€™s physics engine €“ which had been billed as one of its strengths €“ is all over the place while fighters inexplicably suffer random knockouts at baffling stages in the fight. These glitches are all the more frustrating when encountered in competitive play. All you can do is laugh as fighters crawl around the floor like turtles, go flying through the air or decide to start breakdancing in the middle of the Octagon €“ we€™ve heard of capoeira before but some of this just takes it too far. It is a great shame that the irrefutably gorgeous visuals and character models of this latest MMA game are mired by these ridiculous, all-too-frequent glitches. Here are the 15 most ridiculously funny glitches of EA Sports UFC.

15. Cattle Prod Jon Jones

EA Sports (via Youtube)EA Sports (via Youtube)It's a weird sight seeing the pound-for-pound topping, undisputed light heavyweight champion on his back as it is. However, what is even more peculiar is seeing Jon Jones suddenly extending his limbs as if he were being shocked with a cattle prod. As the main contender for the belt approaches the grounded champ, Jon Jones seizes up. For a long time now Jones has been accused of ducking Gustafsson after the Swede took the 205-lb king into perilously deep water in their first fight. We can only assume that the virtual Jon Jones has gone rigid through sheer terror at once again being in the Octagon with Alexander.

14. Liddell's Suspect Chin

EA Sports (via Youtube)EA Sports (via Youtube)Any fan of the UFC will know that Rashad Evans handed the legendary Chuck Liddell one of the most brutal knockouts The Iceman suffered in his lengthy career, with Evans hitting him with an overhand right taken straight out of Chuck's own play-book. Just because Rashad has defeated Chuck before, should that mean that he automatically defeats him in the game? This seems to be the case, as all Rashad has to do is look at Chuck in this clip and the former light heavyweight champion suddenly collapses. We know The Iceman's chin was well on the decline by the end of his career, but this is ridiculous.
