Game: Online When it comes to NPCs to interact with, The Elder Scrolls Online has by far the most lines of dialogue of any of the games in the series. Because of this, there are an astonishing number of references and easter eggs to be found. One of the more memorable lines involves one of the guards making reference to cult movie 'They Live', stating, "I'm here to fight bandits and eat sweetrolls, and I'm all out of sweetrolls." Another more obvious homage involves a character in Toothmaul Gully dungeon named Gollum, who repeatedly refers to his "Precious" - a reference that every reader should immediately understand. Multiple merchants also make a subtle dig at the much-reviled Lydia companion from Skyrim, saying, "We all have burdens to carry."
