FIFA 16: Everything You Need To Know About The Ultimate Team Draft

A whole new way to build a team worthy of beating the world.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzogfrv-WUw FIFA Ultimate Team has spiralled to insane levels since it's introduction on FIFA 09, and has cemented itself as the game's most popular mode. One million gamers played a match on FUT back in 2009, but now that level has shot well above 21 million, with the number accelerating upwards all the time as EA plough more resources into the mode. The basic formula of FUT has seen it become the 21st century answer to football cards and/or stickers. Collecting, buying and selling players is integral, but one thing that stickers and card could never do was face each other in matches. FIFA can bring your collection to life and adds a real purpose to your hoarding, even if you can't own the physical cards to collect for years to come. Now, Ultimate Team has a whole new way of competing, as demonstrated by Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher in the video above. FIFA Ultimate Team Draft allows you to quickly select teams of players to take on others in a bid to boost your coins. Here's everything you need to know about the new feature.

5. Enter Your Team

First up, you need to enter yourself for the draft series. There's an upfront fee of 15,000 coins or 300 FIFA points to get in on the action, while there are also Draft Tokens which you can earn from packs or for achieving certain goals. The further you progress into the tournament, the bigger the prize, but even if you lose the opening game, don't fret. You'll still receive a reward of the equivalent value of your entry fee, so expect a gold pack or loan player to console yourself.
