Fallout 4: 10 Things That Must Happen In 2015

It's a new dawn, it's a new day, but is it a new life for Fallout?

If there's one thing people are looking at 2015 to deliver, it's some honest to goodness, downright unequivocally brilliant video games. Whilst there was a pretty good selection in amongst the guff from last year, thanks to the sheer amount of delayed titles and other big releases finally seeing the light of day this year, it should be cause for celebration. One such title Bethesda have been touting and occasionally letting slip exists is Fallout 4, their second major sequel since acquiring the franchise and, depending on whether it arrives before or after The Elder Scrolls VI, their first major big-budget next-generation release. Quite a lot to live up to then? Definitely. But if there's one thing Bethesda can deliver on regardless of if their games end up with your hero and their companions randomly taking flight or glitching through the floor, it's scope and that exquisite sense of scale. 2014 a total mess when it came to triple-A titles releasing in playable form on launch day, but it's easy to forget Bethesda have been patching their games post-release for years at a time - for as long as you can remember something like when Oblivion was the pinnacle of open world RPG goodness. The Skyrim of today is not the Skyrim of 2012, not by a long shot, and so even though whatever first form Fallout 4 might take most likely won't be its best, 2015 will surely see it arrive in some form... right?
