Fallout 4: 10 Things We Can't Wait To See

Come on Bethesda, you know what you have to do.

June 14th, 2015, a date that's going to live in infamy regardless once it's passed, as that's when Bethesda are rolling into the E3 games conference to host their own show - and almost definitely announce Fallout 4's existence along the way. Assumedly in development for around the last four or so years (Fallout 3 started in 2004 and released 2008), 2010 is also when Obsidian released New Vegas; the last full-length Wasteland-style experience that fans are still arguing on whether it beat part three or not. Looking forward, Bethesda definitely have their work cut out for them a bit more than your average developer. See, they don't just make levels interspersed with a variety of skins and characters - they make worlds. Like Skyrim back in 2011, living in these spaces is purely down to the fact that when this gameplay formula works it's completely enrapturing; letting you create a character from scratch, explore a variety of incredibly detailed locales, and slowly unravel a suitably epic narrative too. Such scope doesn't come without some flaws, but with any luck the jump across the generational hardware gap has let the team iron out the bugs that have plagued them since they made the leap to 3D in the first place, and alongside that there's a laundry list of awesome things that are sure to be included regardless.
