FIFA 13: Demo Released Next Week

EA Sports' football epic teaser lands next week, and we have the details of what you can expect.

Good news for FIFA 13 fans today, as it's now only a week until the playable demo lands on 11th September for PC gamers as well as owners of XBox 360s and PS3s. And ahead of the release, we're running down exactly what players can expect from the demo. The FIFA 13 demo will include the following playable teams: AC Milan Arsenal Borussia Dortmund Juventus Manchester City We can also share the team ratings for those teams in the gallery below, thanks to some sneakily leaked images... Unfortunately but not surprisingly we€™ll apparently be limited to just 6 minute matches (3 minute halves), but that should be more than enough to get a real flavour of what the game is offering. The demo will be playable only at Man City's Etihad Stadium, in a time window between 12pm and 10pm, with four weather options: Clear Sky, Rain, Snow, Cloudy. In addition to the half-length, we also know that players will be able to choose from Amateur, Semi-Pro, Professional, World Class, Legendary difficulties, and from the usual game speed choices of Slow, Normal, Fast. The demo will also include a look at the Skill Games as well as the brand new Match Day experience, which will give players the chance to sample the gameplay, with events synchronizing with real time events every weekend. Players will be able to upload their best goals direct to the EA Sports official website. Based on what we've seen of big rival PES 2013 already, it looks like EA Sports are going to have to really break out the big guns to keep the same distance between the two in terms of sales and critical reception. That healthy rivalry should at least guarantee a pay-off for fans of football gaming. http://youtu.be/cNnmAlEnUt0 You can follow all of our FIFA 13 coverage by heading over to our dedicated FIFA 13 hub-page for features, news and media.
