FIFA 14: 5 Ways The Next Generation Version Will Be Superior

Fifa 14 Next Gen September 27 - That was but one release date for FIFA 14, the latest iteration in Electronic Art's long-running football simulation series. One week ago today, 14 launched on a multitude of consoles, from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 through to Wii, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS. The game has been a commercial hit so far, knocking critically acclaimed Grand Theft Auto 5 off the top of the charts or, to put it in football language - off the top of the Premier League. And though 10 different platforms received FIFA 14 as though it were a pass from Mesut Ozil, it is of course next month's release of the popular title on next generation consoles that has most excited. On November 22 and 29, 14 launches onto Xbox One and PlayStation 4, respectively, the second release date for the title this year. But don't worry, because EA aren't just giving us a shiny new port or a mere upscaled version of the FIFA we've all been playing on our humble, current gen machines over the past seven days. There's plenty of reason for you to go out and buy a next generation version of 14, even if you already possess it for the PS3. And that's because the current and next gen versions are vastly different. What are the differences, we hear you ask? Well here, we run through 5 Ways The Next Generation Version Will Be Superior.
