FIFA 14 vs PES 14 - 9 Reasons Why FIFA 14 Will Win The War

Fifa14 The referee's whistle has already been blown to signal the resumption of the Barclay's Premier League and that can mean only one thing, we're nearing the release date of PES and FIFA 2014. The two football simulation titles will be released on September 20th and 26th respectively and are set to re-open the great debate among fans - which one is better? FIFA is the longer-running of the two, with EA's juggernaut first beginning way back in 1993, while PES, its supporters claim, puts its competitor in the shade when it comes to getting the full simulation experience. Both titles performed well when they released their 2013 iterations last year, with PES receiving an aggregated score of 81% from Metacritic. FIFA meanwhile sold more than one million copies in the United Kingdom in its first week of release, and 7.4 million units sold four weeks after its release, which, according to EA, makes the game the biggest sports videogame launch of all-time. So, as these two sporting Goliaths prepare to do battle once more, which one is the best? In our humble opinion, FIFA, like Peter Crouch in the penalty area, towers head and shoulders above its competition. And here's 9 reasons why.
