FIFA 16: 9 New Stadiums Revealed

Including a touching tribute to a man who made FIFA possible.

FIFA 16 news is coming thick and fast, with the latest burst of information from EA showcasing some of the new stadiums designed from scratch for the new game. The production team have excelled themselves in recent years following the additions of every Premier League ground and a wide range of world stadium for fans to enjoy, and the feature proved to play a far more important role than to just look pretty. Having every real-life stadium meant that games felt real. There was nothing more illusion-shattering than winning a trophy only to parade it around the Eastpoint Arena, Stade Kokoto, or Euro Park. Now you feel more immersed in the game than ever before, simply by FIFA adding a skin over the generic terraces. It now looks like a regular, yearly update for FIFA, and that can only be a great thing to keep the franchise fresh. There are plenty of new stadiums to enjoy across a variety of promising leagues, so let's take a look.

9. Vitality Stadium - 11,700

Bournemouth's story is a true fairytale, rising up from total obscurity to their first ever slot in the Premier League, largely down to the impact of their manager, Eddie Howe, who has revitalised the club since returning for his second stint in charge on the south coast. Therefore the new sponsored name of their home, the Vitality Stadium, is rather apt. Formerly known as Dean Court, the stadium has undergone several sponsor name changes, but one thing will remain for the Cherries top flight season. The same small capacity of just 11,700. Still, teams won't enjoy coming to play here with Bournemouth and their fans desperate not to blow their big chance at survival.
