As an extension of the Interactive Transfer Negotiations, you'll now be dealing with player agents more than ever before. In FIFA 17, the only time you heard from agents was when a player felt unhappy. Now, forging relationships with these money-hungry suits will be vital to getting the best deal.

EA are adding a Mass Effect-like dialogue wheel heavy on choices that can take conversations in different directions. Oh, and there's also the chance to discuss sell-on clauses, player bonuses and things like that. This is a nice touch, because it means your club stands to make money should a young star name you've been working hard in training move on.

In other words, training will be more important now too. That's not all either, because other real-life transfer nuances like release clauses are in FIFA 18. For the first time when signing players, you may get a better deal on wages if you manage to negotiate a release fee. This could make it easier to sign bigger name players with smaller clubs.
