6. Goalkeepers

Petr Čech: 86

David Ospina: 79

If any hardcore FIFA player is being honest, there's really no need to have more than 2 goalkeepers in your squad. Oddly, Emiliano Martinez appeared to be absent from Arsenal's roster in the Beta version, though that will likely be sorted in time for the full release. The Argentinian stopper is out on loan at Getafe anyway.

That leaves both Petr Čech and David Ospina as options for the Gunners in goal. Neither are bad, and Čech did come in at #66 on EA's own Top 100, but age could be a concern. The Czech keeper is 35 and Ospina (very much his backup) is 29. This may leave players diving into the transfer market in search of a younger option.

Čech is worth keeping around though, if only because funds may be spent elsewhere in the squad. His stats are high across the board and include 82 diving, 87 handling and an impressive 82 on reflexes. His 83 positioning is also superb, so Čech remains one of the better goalies in the game.

Buy someone better and younger than Ospina to eventually replace him though.
